After you've configured the funds for donations, it is time to customize your donations interface.

Modify the text and image on the Donation form

In the first section of the Interface tab, you can modify the text for your donations widget. 


In the second (below), you can modify the wording and appearance of the donations form that shows up when the widget is clicked. For instance, you may upload a custom picture which will show up on the left side of the form. The picture will show up in the preview, shown here:

 

You may also modify the wording and messaging of the “introductory message” that shows up at the top of the form, as well as the “completion message” that appears after a donation has been made. 


Enable Donations

The last thing you need to do to start collecting donations is to activate the toggle to display the donations widget on your main event pages. If at any point you would like to hide the widget and prevent donations, you may simply revert the toggle state.

Once you have activated the toggle, you may go to any of your event pages using the links in your event header and preview what the donations widget and form look like. It is not possible to do a test donation. Below is an example of what the completion page looks like (with the template text) once a donation has been made:

The donor can subsequently make additional donations if they would like to.
