Why ForagerOne?
ForagerOne aims to do three things: rewire the educational experience, tackle decentralization, and empower administrators.
Undergraduate research as an integrative learning experience allows students to rigorously engage with classroom learning, contribute to path-breaking discoveries, and develop important pre-professional skills. ForagerOne helps students discover and connect with the right faculty mentors for them and ensures that every single student has the opportunity to engage in these meaningful educational experiences.
Most institutions lack coordination between departments, divisions, and campuses, leading to students and faculty becoming siloed and difficult to access. This lack impedes connectivity at all levels - hindering students from finding faculty mentors in different areas and faculty from finding research collaborators, especially for interdisciplinary work. ForagerOne uses our machine-learning-based solution to ensure that researchers in all areas are easily accessible.
Lastly, by analyzing the activity of students and faculty on our platform, we can equip administrators with actionable analytics and metrics. Our accurate real-time data enables administrators to take targeted approaches to tackle inefficiencies and shortcomings in their institution's infrastructure to drive educational outcomes and research.
If you haven't already, you can see how all of these elements come together on ForagerOne by scheduling a live demo with a member of our team.
